Our machining is tied to the delivery of profiles from our programme or custom extrusions. Machining of supplied material is assessed per project — contact us with your specification.

Which tolerances apply to machining?

Accepted Answer

Machined dimensions are inspected against the tolerances on your drawing. For the profile itself, EN 755-9 or EN 12020-2 applies, depending on what you specify.

Question 3

Do you also machine anodised or coated profiles?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Per project we advise whether machining before or after the surface treatment gives the best result — for example to avoid visible cut edges.
