Can you guarantee strength values?

No. We can quote typical values per EN 755-2 as a reference, but give no engineering guarantees. Material and temper selection is confirmed per quotation against drawing and load case; the structural calculation remains with your engineer.

Does 6082 machine well on CNC?

Accepted Answer

Yes, in T6 it machines well with clean cuts and manageable tool wear. We can deliver it CNC-machined and cut to length on request.

Is 6082 weldable?

Accepted Answer

Yes, with TIG/MIG and a suitable filler. Heat input does locally reduce properties in the heat-affected zone, so discuss joint details up front and we include them in the review.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Custom extrusions typically start from 500 kg per profile as a reference; larger or production-dependent profiles may require more. Smaller quantities are only possible for genuinely standard catalogue items, subject to quotation confirmation.

Which file formats can I supply?
