Who manufactures the profiles and who is my contract party?

Production takes place at Ersaş Aluminium in Turkey. GBS ALU is a Netherlands-based supply partner. The contract party, import model, delivery and any Dutch invoice are confirmed per order in the quotation, contract and Incoterms.

Do I need to arrange anything for CBAM myself?

Accepted Answer

That depends on the agreed order model. Where GBS ALU is importer per order under the contract and Incoterms, we confirm the CBAM responsibility and cost treatment in the quotation and order terms as an authorised CBAM declarant.

Question 3

Which alloys and finishes are available?

Accepted Answer

EN AW-6060, 6063 and 6082, with anodising (natural, black, bronze) or powder coating in standard RAL colours. Availability of a specific colour and minimum batch size are confirmed per quotation.

Are the products certified?

Accepted Answer

Yes — production partner Ersaş Aluminium is the certificate holder of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, QUALICOAT, QUALANOD, EN 755 and EN 12020, among others. GBS ALU does not hold these certificates itself; they apply to production at Ersaş.

What are the lead time and minimum order quantity?

That depends on profile, die, finishing and volume. We deliberately do not quote standard figures: you receive the concrete lead time and minimum order in your quotation, after technical review of your drawing.
