Is GBS ALU the manufacturer itself?

No. GBS ALU is your Dutch commercial and import partner and point of contact. Extrusion, machining and finishing are carried out by production partner Ersaş Aluminium in Turkey.

Who holds the quality certificates?

Accepted Answer

All production and quality certificates (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, QUALICOAT, QUALANOD, EN 755, EN 12020) are held by and owned by Ersaş Aluminium. GBS ALU does not hold these certificates itself.

What QA documentation do I receive per order?

Accepted Answer

Depending on the specification you receive material certificates, dimensional inspection against your drawing and a finishing file, issued by Ersaş Aluminium. We agree the exact set per order.

Question 4

What is the minimum order quantity?

Accepted Answer

For custom extrusions, from 500 kg per profile is the typical starting reference; larger or production-dependent profiles may require more. Smaller quantities are possible only for genuinely standard catalogue items, subject to quotation confirmation.

How is CBAM handled?

Accepted Answer

GBS ALU is an NEa-authorised CBAM declarant. Where the agreed order model, contract and Incoterms provide for it, GBS ALU can act as EU importer and coordinate or file CBAM; responsibility and cost treatment are confirmed in the quotation or order terms.

What is the lead time?

Lead times are project-based and confirmed per quotation. We deliberately publish no fixed figures, because they differ per profile, processing and volume.

Which languages do you communicate in?

Accepted Answer

We communicate in Dutch and English, with short lines to a single fixed point of contact in Lijnden.
