Yes. You supply a DWG, DXF, STEP/STP or PDF with critical dimensions; we review the cross-section for extrudability and confirm alloy, temper and tolerances per quotation.

What is the minimum order quantity for a machine-building profile?

Accepted Answer

For custom extrusions the starting reference is typically from 500 kg per profile; larger or production-dependent profiles may require more. Smaller quantities are possible only for genuinely standard catalogue items, subject to quotation confirmation.

Do you deliver CNC machining and finishing in one go?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Profiles can be delivered sawn, drilled, milled and tapped, with powder coating or anodising in the same delivery — produced by certificate holder Ersaş Aluminium.

Question 4

Which alloy suits a machine frame?

Accepted Answer

6063 as the all-rounder, 6005A/6082 where more strength or stiffness is needed, 6060 for complex or thin-walled sections. The choice is confirmed against your drawing and load case, without structural guarantee.

What are the lead times?

Lead times are project-based and confirmed per quotation. We deliberately publish no fixed figures because they differ per profile, machining scope and finish.

How do import and invoicing work?

Accepted Answer

Where the agreed order model, contract and Incoterms provide for it, GBS ALU can act as EU importer, coordinate or file CBAM, provide Benelux logistics and issue a Dutch/EU invoice. Responsibility and cost treatment are confirmed in the quotation or order terms.
